I wish to update you following recent press reports. On the afternoon of 12 October, Llinos Griffin-Williams, S4C’s Chief Content Officer, was dismissed following reported gross misconduct.

I would like to reassure you that S4C’s important work in servicing its viewers continues, and we are committed to our 2022-27 Strategy with its aims of providing exciting content in Welsh across a range of platforms, maximising value for money for our audiences.

In the short term, Geraint Evans, Director of Content and Publishing Strategy at S4C, will take on the responsibilities of Chief Content Officer and will lead on the commissioning and publishing with the support of his team.
